I have blogged about Ai Weiwei and his wonderful use of the bicycle frame in his sculptures, and now I have come across another artist, Yeong Deok-Seo from Korea, who uses bicycle chains to create sculptures.
You can see his facebook page here, https://www.facebook.com/artistyoungdeok
His goal, as far as I can tell is to compare "the standardization of modern life to the monotonous repetitive movement of the chain in its original function." I'm not quite sure thats a good thing, but while the chain performs a very mundane function it does give the user some sort of freedom and expression in both cycling and Yeong's sculptures.

Bicycle with Air Cleaner
I've used all sorts of masks to combat pollution in the past, but this takes things to a new level, a bicycle with a built in air cleaner.

City Cross
Morvelo will be holding an urban cyclocross race on the premises of an abandoned mill. They published a video about it --- as below
Morvélo CityCross Teaser from Morvélo Bicycle Apparel on Vimeo.
I have to say "I love the idea", but it does look a little strange seeing these lycra clad guys in this location, carbon rims and all. I wish all the starters a puncture free ride.
